Woohoo! James Carville's Democracy Corps group has said what conservatives have known all along - we oppose the Obama Administration because of its policies. Race has NOTHING to do with it:
They believe Obama is ruthlessly advancing a ‘secret agenda’ to bankrupt the United States and dramatically expand government control to an extent nothing short of socialism. They overwhelmingly view a successful Obama presidency as the destruction of this country’s founding principles and are committed to seeing the president fail.
Instead of focusing on these intense ideological divisions, the press and elites continue to look for a racial element that drives these voters’ beliefs – but they need to get over it. Conducted on the heels of Joe Wilson’s incendiary comments at the president’s joint session address, we gave these groups of older, white Republican base voters in Georgia full opportunity to bring race into their discussion – but it did not ever become a central element, and indeed, was almost beside the point.

This shouldn't surprise anyone. After all, Obama's handlers make an effort to distance the president from every one of his own policies and associates, making it virtually impossible to connect the president to any criticism of his administration.
As a result, most of the criticism of the Obama Administration is targeted at the people who are allegedly only loosely associated with him in the first place. And those people are so overwhelmingly white that a Cabinet meeting probably looks like a Saturday afternoon at a Starbucks in any snooty suburban town:
Janet Napolitano (white)
Van Jones (black)
Kathleen Sebelius (white)
Kevin Jennings (white)
Valerie Jarret (black)
Anne Dunn (white)
Joe Biden (white)
Ezekiel Emanuel (white)
Hillary Clinton (white)
Steven Chu (asian)
Eric Holder (black)
Robert Gibbs (moron)
Linda Douglass (white)
Yosi Sergant (hipster)
You can almost see Yosi Sergant yawning as Robert Gibbs places his order for a "Double Ristretto Venti Half-Soy Nonfat Decaf Organic Chocolate Brownie Iced Vanilla Double-Shot Frappuccino."
This may be the point where the wheels come off the Obama Administration. Consider this:
- There wasn't much substance to Obama to begin with. Much of his aura was emotion-based and poll-driven
- It is now socially acceptable to ridicule Obama for his failures (see also: SNL and Nobel Peace Prize)
- The left is acknowledging that wanting Obama to fail has nothing to do with race
