These promising designs would add additional electric generating capacity without the huge carbon footprint of coal fired plants, which the Obama administration also opposes.

This is the same backdoor strategy that Obama has used with legalizing pot. He has given strong indications that he will use regulations to achieve the same outcome with coal, talk radio and the Internet. But back to the issue at hand...
