Assuming Der Spiegel is correct about the speech's message, Obama was admitting to someone else's failure - another "blame Bush" speech. 4.) Frank Rich of The New York Times is calling Obama's Afghanistan speech a failure. That is surprising, but the most mindblowing part of his op-ed is who he is blaming for Obama's failed speech - the White House party-crashers, because they don't have "respect for our president’s orderliness of mind and action."
