Michelle Joins the Obama War on Business

She may have spent her husband's birthday partying it up in Spain without him, but Michelle Obama is a good soldier when it comes to her husband's war on business:

"The winners of the childhood obesity infographic design contest sponsored by GOOD and First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! initiative are in, and the overall winner calls out Sony's PlayStation as a major milestone on its timeline of childhood obesity (together with Coke, Pepsi, mall food courts, fructose and high sugar tariffs, TV, McDonald's, and other fast food).

Keep in mind the following:
  • The Let's Move campaign is closely tied in with Big Labor, as Doug Powers and Michelle Malkin have pointed out on numerous occasions (here, here, here)
  • The underlying premise of the campaign is based on a a deeply flawed measurement known as Body Mass Index or BMI
  • There were numerous entries in the contest, but the winner targets successful businesses. Coincidence? Probably not.
Of course, since this is the Obama administration, you just KNOW there's going to be a major gaffe somewhere in this story. Here ya go:
Somewhat ironically, the First Lady's other anti-childhood obesity efforts include a $60,000 video game contest."
